Sourdough Starter Loaf
A rustic, deeply flavoured loaf. Begin the starter the evening before and allow the dough its long, cold prove overnight.
Method
- Put lemon juice into the mixing bowl.
- Put bread flour into the mixing bowl.
- Put warm water into the mixing bowl.
- Put walnuts into the mixing bowl.
- Put dried figs into the mixing bowl.
- Put strong white flour into the mixing bowl.
- Put filtered water into the mixing bowl.
- Put sourdough starter into the mixing bowl.
- Put spelt flour into the mixing bowl.
- Put olive oil into the mixing bowl.
- Put pumpkin seeds into the mixing bowl.
- Put sunflower seeds into the mixing bowl.
- Put honey into the mixing bowl.
- Put semolina into the mixing bowl.
- Put rye flour into the mixing bowl.
- Put buttermilk into the mixing bowl.
- Put rolled oats into the mixing bowl.
- Put dried cranberries into the mixing bowl.
- Liquefy contents of the mixing bowl.
- Pour contents of the mixing bowl into the baking dish.
Chef's Note — The order of addition matters. Reverse your assumptions about sequence.
